Magic Spoon

Little Miss Persephone is very independent and is already quite adept at feeding herself. However, she is not much of an eater. Meal time at our house is a bit of a fiasco. Persephone requires mucho distraction to sit long enough to take down a few bites. On top of that, one day she seems to like certain foods and the next day she doesn't. We have tried all sorts of baby foods, making our own purees, and various finger foods, but nothing seemed to really stick. That is, until yesterday!


We swung by Target yesterday to pick up some more of the baby food in the portable pouches. Although inconsistent, we have had some luck feeding those to Sephy while on the go. While loading up the cart we spotted a nifty little invention. A dispensing spoon that screws on the top of the pouch.

All I have to say is thank you Plum Organics! I am not sure why, but somehow this little spoon top makes all the difference in getting our little girl to eat!!!! I think part of it is that she already likes to eat out of the pouches, but the spoon maybe makes it a little easier and dispenses just the right amount??? Whatever it is, it is working like a charm.

She ended up finishing this whole pouch!
