Wisconsin (part 2)
We are back home and missing our family and friends from Wisconsin already. We had a great trip and were amazed at how much our Miss P grew in just two weeks. The open space, variety of new things, freedom presented by rural lake life and the love and attention of her family and friends must have given her just what she needed to get over a few hurdles. When we arrived in Wisconsin, Miss P was still walking (as her Grandpa Chicken would say) like a "drunken sailor". She was also still struggling with stairs and was extremely cautious about her new surroundings. However, in a little over a week she threw caution to the wind! She is now walking/running, climbing stairs, and taking on physical challenges with greater agility and confidence.
After we got back, I took Miss P to her favorite park and the change was even more apparent. She climbed the jungle gym all by herself, mounted and bounced on the see-saw all by herself, wanted to swing faster and longer and was playing more intently with the other kids her age.
As my friend Kasey probably said best we think "lake life agrees with Miss P". We are so thankful that we have a such a wonderful place to visit and the love of the most amazing family and friends. Special thanks to our Camp Luebke hosts, grandparents extraordinaire and my #1 in-laws...Grandma and Grandpa Chicken. Love you guys!
I have one last set of photos to share...hope to get them up tomorrow.
xoxo
